Alison loehnis 10.17
Alison Loehnis sits atop the jewel in Yoox Net-a-Porter Group’s (YNAP) crown, leading the in-season division, which includes luxury digital powerhouses Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter, and the group’s publishing arm. She is responsible for 52% of YNAP’s consolidated net revenue and so played a key role in helping it hit half-year sales of €1bn (£896m) for the first time, in 2017.
In May Loehnis hired former Bergdorf Goodman senior vice-president and general merchandise manager Elizabeth von der Goltz as global buying director of Net-a-Porter. In October Leohnis oversaw the launch of Mr Porter’s first own brand, Mr P.
Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter continue to innovate. In April they introduced a “you try, we wait” delivery option and, in September, image and video push notifications were launched for app users, leading to an increase in customer engagement.
