Drapers Top 100 2017 – 86. Victoria and David Beckham

Brand Beckham has had a busy year in fashion. Victoria Beckham’s eponymous fashion business was valued at £100m after receiving a £30m cash injection from growth equity firm Neo Investment Partners in November.

The funds will be used to ramp up the brand’s digital and physical retail presence, drive growth, and allow it to launch into new categories and collaborations. The company will move to new West London premises in spring 2018. The former Spice Girl is also teaming up with Reebok on a collection, which is due to hit shops late next year.

Meanwhile, Kent & Curwen, the British heritage brand in which David Beckham has a stake, opened its first concept store in Covent Garden in November. Further retail expansion is expected in 2018.
