Bally launches made-to-order service

Luxury brand and retailer Bally is to launch a bespoke footwear service in its stores.

The luxury footwear, accessories and womenswear label will introduce the Scribe Made-to-Order service for its Scribe men’s shoes in selected stores from next month.

The service will be available on Bally’s existing Scribe collection, a range of men’s shoes that draw designs from Bally’s archives.

Shoppers will be able to select from original Bally styles and order pieces which will be tailor-made for a precise fit.

Scribe shoes will then be hand-made in the original leather and hand-dyed and polished to create the selected colour and an antique effect. The craftsman will handwrite the model and size details inside each shoe.
