Copenhagen Fashion Week saw a rise in visitor numbers at the August edition of its three main trade shows, including mainstream trade fair CIFF, contemporary event CPH Vision and directional show Gallery.
CIFF recorded a 7% rise in attendance compared to last year’s edition, with 24,653 visitors. The show said 7,101 buyers from outside of Denmark had attended CIFF.
Gallery saw a record number of visitors, with 11,400 people attending the show - a 4.6% increase despite the show being shortened to three days compared to four last year. Gallery had shown a record number of brands at 260, including designers John Galliano and Puma Alexandra McQueen.
CPH Vision and Terminal 2, which showcase denim and streetwear collections, attracted 10,142 visitors and 12,317 people, respectively.
Copenhagen Fashion Week ran from August 11 to 15.
