Missguided scored a hat-trick at the Drapers Digital Awards 2018 tonight.
The fast fashion retailers took home the awards for Best In-Store Digital Innovation, Best Use of Content and Best Multichannel Retailer – Over £200m Turnover, sponsored by True Fit.
The judges said Missguided is “pushing boundaries” and using digital technology in a way that “perfectly communicates the brand to its target audience in an innovative and imaginative way”.
Marks & Spencer was highly commended for Best Use of Content and picked up the award for Best Multichannel Delivery Offer, sponsored by XPO Logistics.
Asos picked up Best Pureplay Etailer over £50m Turnover, sponsored by Success Digital. Judges saying the business had “stayed true to its message, remained utterly relevant to its market, and every little element of the business is killing it”.
Zalando was highly commended in the category at the ceremony held at the Brewery in London on 26 April, as part of the Drapers Digital Festival.
Digital team of the year was awarded to Phase Eight, which was praised for its “clear momentum and narrative of teamwork”.
Best Multichannel Retailer – Under £25m turnover went to Lakeland Leather, while Quiz won Best Multichannel Retailer – £25m-£200m turnover.
Best Pureplay Etailer – Under £50m turnover went to Gymshark. Judges said the business is “hugely exciting – it is leading its market and has an impressive international business despite being up against stiff competition in its sector”.
Meanwhile, Best Ecommerce Customer Experience, sponsored by Ebay, was awarded to AllSaints.
Vollebak won Best Website Design and Jigsaw won Best Use of Social Media. The judges said Jigsaw has shown “a brave and purpose-driven approach to social media with its messaging, taking a stand on issues that matter to its customers in a bold and well-executed campaign”.
Amazon Fashion won the award for Pureplay Consumer Choice.
Three categories were judged live in front of the audience at the Drapers Digital Festival during the day. Best Use of Innovation, sponsored by True Fit, went to La Perla.
Burberry picked up Best App, while John Lewis was highly recommended. CHO won Best Digital Marketing Campaign and Mr Porter was highly recommended.
