Cath Kidston’s chief operating officer Geert Peeters has been poached by Dr Martens.
Peeters joined Cath Kidston as supply chain director in September 2012 and became COO of the retailer in 2015.
He will take on the same position at Dr Martens Airwair International.
He joins former chief executive of Cath Kidston, Kenny Wilson, who is joining the footwear firm as CEO.
Peeters boasts a career in the supply chain industry which spans more than 25 years, including positions at Levi’s, Bacardi and VF Corporation.
Paul Mason, chairman of Dr. Martens, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Geert to the company. His wealth of experience in the retail and consumer industries, as well as his many years managing global operations, will prove an invaluable asset as we seek to deliver on our strategic priorities.
“This is a really exciting time for Dr. Martens and as we enter the next phase of our history, I know that Geert will play a key role in helping us continue to deliver sustainable global growth.”
Cath Kidston declined to comment.
