Italian young fashion brand Subdued, which creates 1990s-inspired womenswear, is set to open its first UK store in London’s soho.
Subdued was founded in 1992, and has more than 100 stores in Europe – in Italy, Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands.
The brand will open its first UK location, a 1,290 sq ft space across two floors at 12 Foubert’s Place, just off London’s Carnaby Street, on 16 February. It also ships to the UK from its website.
Designs are inspired by 1990s streetwear and have a youthful, trend-led aesthetic.
Lurex knit party dresses, teddy-bear bomber jackets and tea dresses are key styles.
Retail prices range from £13 for a T-shirt to £120 for a reversible hooded bomber jacket. Dresses retail for around £40-£50.
