LFWM celebrates London as a creative capital

London Fashion Week Men’s (LFWM) opened its twelfth edition on Saturday 6 January, launching a three day celebration of the UK capital as an international hub for menswear. 

Opened by London Fashion Week Men’s chair Dylan Jones and chief executive of the British Fashion Council Caroline Rush, the event will run until 8 January.

Those showing over the three days include Craig Green, winner of British Designer of the Year at The Fashion Awards 2017, and British Emerging Talent Menswear winner Charles Jeffrey.

Jones said: “We look forward to starting January 2018 with London Fashion Week Men’s as a celebration of London as a global centre for creativity and innovation.

“From fashion to art, design, music and popular culture, our international audience use LFWM to experience our city’s melting pot of creative industries and the best of British retail.

“News that growth in the UK menswear market is predicted to outstrip womenswear and reach £16.2bn by 2021, is promising news for our designers and further cements the UK’s importance as a global business destination.”
