Mint Velvet has appointed Kara Groves as its new chief operating officer, as current COO Stuart Grant steps down from the role.
Groves will join Mint Velvet in September from Joules, where she has held the same role since 2011.
Grant will remain on the Mint Velvet board as non-executive director, continuing to help steer the strategic direction of the business.
He is one of the four co-founders of Mint Velvet and has been COO since the business was set up in 2009.
Groves was previously category director - clothing at Blacks Leisure Group between 2009 and 2010, and commercial director at Woolworths for seven years between 2002 and 2008.
At Mint Velvet she will report into CEO Liz Houghton.
