British label Paul Smith will launch its first directly-owned downtown shop in Scandinavia after signing for a space in central Copenhagen.
The shop, which spans 1,100 sq ft, will open later this year. It is located on Christian IX’s Gade 2, a street in Copenhagen’s city centre.
The offering will sit alongside an existing outlet at Copenhagen airport, which has been trading for more than a year.
Property firm Harper Dennis Hobbs, which advised Paul Smith on the deal, said the decision to launch a downtown presence was reached on the back of successful trading at the travel hub.
Paul Smith operates 236 stores worldwide, in countries including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg.
