Handbag and accessories brand Radley's second store in London's Covent Garden has smashed sales targets after its Easter opening. The official launch was used to unveil the brand's new premium London range, with retail prices rising beyond its typical top price point of £150 to between £200 and £400.
The store uses Radley's latest fit-out, featuring a white glossy interior and matt black and white shelving. Imagery from its first ad campaign, launched last month, is also used throughout the design. Radley's first shop opened on London's King's Road 18 months ago. The brand will launch a shop in Dubai in May, in partnership with Dubai business PBUK. Radley chief executive Roger Best said it also aimed to open stores in Hong Kong and Japan. He added that the store, on London's Floral Street, had exceeded sales targets and would have higher sales densities than the retailer's King's Road shop.
