Swedish brand Newbie rolls out two new stores

Swedish childrenswear brand Newbie is to open two further UK stores in April.

The first will open on 5 April in Bluewater in Kent, and the second will open 12 April at Westfield London in White City, giving it a total of four stores in the UK.

The brand, which is owned by fashion chain KappAhl, was launched online in 2010 and opened its first store in Stockholm four years later.

Camilla Wernlund, vice-president new business at KappAhl, said: “The reception of the Newbie brand in the UK has exceeded our expectations. Newbie Store is well positioned in the market with its distinctive Swedish lifestyle concept, focusing on sustainability and affordable pricing.”

The brand currently has stores in Richmond and Kingston in the UK, as well as Sweden, Norway, Finland and Poland.
