White Stuff has appointed Superdrug boss Jeremy Seigal as its new chief executive, replacing Sally Bailey who steps down this week.
Seigal joins from AS Watson, where as chief executive he was responsible for Superdrug, The Perfume Shop and Savers. He takes over the reins on February 18.
White Stuff chairman Debbie Hewitt praised Seigal for his “extensive general management experience of the retail sector and strong track record of developing multi-channel businesses”.
She added: “We believe his experience will enable him to make an immediate contribution to the company and to build on our progress. We look forward very much to working with him.”
Hewitt went on to thank Bailey for her work in growing the business over the past nine years.
Seigal said: “It is an honour to be leading the business through this next phase of its development and I am looking forward to working with all of the White Stuff team to build on the values laid down by the founders George Treves and Sean Thomas and the growth led by Sally Bailey over the last nine years”.
